Pre-Season Tuesday Night Training

Most teams will be introducing friends, lovers, work colleagues or dodgy folks picked up in the street to the sport. If that's you, you may be interested to know that poaching, I mean coaching, guru and former GB Player David Lee will be running indoor training sessions from 8pm to 10pm on Tuesday evenings, until 24th April 2007.

These will be aimed at beginners or inexperienced players, but all are welcome and there will be specialist coaching for pitchers. They will take place in the the County Ground off Gloucester Road. The cost is a piffling £4-5 per head to cover the hire of the hall. Please e-mail Pete and let him know if you would like to attend as places need to be booked.

We dare you to enter THE CAGE...

You've seen them in the movies, you've seen them on TV, now Bristol has the chance to swing from the hips as you enter....THE CAGE!

The cage is based at Bristol Softball League's grounds at Abbots Leigh and can be hired for a team training session.

Trained coaches will operate the machine and each group will receive coaching prior to facing 30 pitches each.

This is great for practising batting as the machine fires balls at a decent speed with consistent pitch. If you would like to book an evening for your team please contact Pete.
