As a league we have some additional rules:

• Minimum of 4 girls per team. The batting order will go:
  
  1. Girl
  2. Boy
  3. Girl
  4. Boy
  5. Girl
  6. Boy
  7. Girl
  8. Boy
  9. Girl ... a different girl will be rotated in (can't have three boys in a row)
  10. Boy
  ............and then start again with a girl.
  
  
• If you only have 4 girls and 6 boys, when it comes to fielding you MUST play two girls in the outfield.
  
  
• If only 9 of your team turn up then play with 9 (if there are no pool players) but when you are batting, the 9th person is an automatic OUT.
  
• If you only have a team of 7/8 then it is up to the other team captain to decide whether they want to automatically take the game or if they want to play the game and maybe lend you some of their team. I would hope that everyone would play the game. Decide BEFORE you play!
  
• You may bat using 12 players but only field with 10.

• Rain stops play ... only the team captains from each team can agree between them to postpone a match due to bad weather. It is then up to the captains to inform their teams that the game has been postponed and re-scheduling will take place at the end of the tournament.

• Don’t forget to mark a large enough pitch (see the RULES sheet) and to set the pitcher plate back a bit.
