JULY SALSA NIGHT AT THE ZOO
Andrea Hamilton, captain of the
Uncatchables, suggested that i send the following information
on to you. We are arranging for a posse of the Uncatchables
to gather at the Salsa evening and have a general knees up
with picnics on the lawn, accompanying beverages etc. Andie
thought that other teams might also be interested in this
evenings entertainment and suggested that you might want to
put it up on the softball website. Here are the details.....
Friday 23 July 2004, 7pm
to 10pm
Dance the night away with our dynamic instructors and feverish
band.
Tickets: £11 adults (£9 in advance), £7
children (5.50 in advance)
The timings for the evening are as follows:
7.00pm - 8.00pm Live Band
8.00pm - 8.45pm Salsa instruction
8.45pm - 10.00pm Live Band
Food and drink will be available from the Pelican
Restaurant, or you may wish to bring a picnic with you.

In April a few social establishments
in Bristol are going to be promoting softball to their customers
with upwards of 17,000 leaflets. To increase the profile of
softball in the summer, you, your work mates and friends are
all invited to some sponsors nights, the bigger the nights,
the greater the number of companies rushing to promote softball.
Wednesday 21st April
Softball Comedy Night @ Jongleurs
Our first softball benefit evening of the year, it is simply
a midweek night out, and it is aimed at everyone you know.
No medals, no ceremonies, no trophies, just a night of comedy
and cheesy music bring your friends, work mates and colleagues.
If this date is inconvenient, we are planning to do another
one on a Thursday 6th May.
- Tickets £8 each, starting at
8pm for 8.30pm

can snaffle them).
- Three comedians, followed by cheesy

Thursday 20th May
Spanish Softball Night @ La Tasca
They've even got some Flamenco Dancers
(Sprucey and Sal? ) brought in.
Four sittings, 6.30pm for the 'post work
then on for some beers' crowd! The 7.30pm for the 'had some
beers now for some food' crowd. 8.30pm for the 'look it takes
a long time to get ready crowd', then the 9.30pm 'I can't
read the menu' crowd plus all the players from the Thursday
night BSA crowd!
Again the idea is to make this a night for mates, workmates
etc. The more the merrier! All you have to do is ring 925

Softball Surf Night Upstairs@ Walkabout
Back to basics...£2 a head party bring the town with
you! Prizes are being awarded to the most convincing surfer
dude. Tickets are £2 which also win you a prize or two
on the night, donated by Walkabout!
